詹志辉,博士,IEEE高级会员、ACM、CCF、CAAI会员,现任华南理工大学计算机科学与工程学院教授、博士生导师,教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者、国家优秀青年科学基金获得者、Elsevier计算机学科领域中国高被引学者入选者、国家自然科学基金委信息学部专家评审组成员、广东省首批“青年珠江学者”、广东省自然科学杰出青年科学基金获得者和广东特支高层次人才科技创新青年拔尖人才和。曾获吴文俊人工智能优秀青年奖、IEEE计算智能学会(CIS)全球杰出博士学位论文奖和中国计算机学会(CCF)优秀博士学位论文奖获得者。现任广州计算机学会副理事长、ACM广州分会副主席、中国图学学会(CGN)图学大数据专业委员会副主任、中国计算机学会人工智能与模式识别专业委员会委员、中国人工智能学会(CAAI)机器学习专业委员会委员和中国自动化学会(CAA)自适应动态规划与强化学习专业委员会委员。
    主要研究方向为人工智能、进化计算、群体智能、云计算和大数据。目前已在国际期刊和国际会议共发表(录用)论文100余篇,其中IEEE Transactions系列的计算机领域顶尖国际期刊论文40余篇。论文近被国际同行引用超过5000次(Google Scholar),其中包括SCI他人引用超过2000次。8篇论文入选ESI高被引论文,包括1篇ESI热点论文(2014年2月全球计算机领域ESI热点论文62篇)。获国家发明专利授权1项。
    研究成果得到了国际同行的正面评价和应用推广。被包括蚁群算法创始人(Dorigo)、禁忌搜索的创始人(冯诺依曼理论奖获得者,Glover)、印度国家科学院和工程院两院院士(IEEE模糊系统先驱奖获得者,Pal)、加拿大国家首席教授(Pedrycz)、IEEE Fellow等著名学者评价为“令人鼓舞的成果(encouraging results)”;被IEEE计算智能学会作为“计算智能出版焦点”进行了推介;被欧洲航天局科学家应用到彗星探测器的质谱仪参数优化设计中;同时也被国内外学者广泛应用于生物医学、物理光学、化工生产、图像处理、信号处理等众多领域的优化问题中,推动相关领域的发展。
    詹教授担任担任国际学术期刊 IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation(SCI,IF=8.508,JCR一区,进化计算领域的旗舰性顶尖国际期刊)和Neurocomputing(SCI,IF=3.241,JCR一区,神经网络领域的权威国际期刊)的Associate Editor,并获邀出任ICACI 2019的程序主席、ICICIP 2018和BIC-TA 2018的宣传主席以及ICIST 2017和ICONIP 2018的Special Sessions主席等,AAAI 2018/2017、GECCO 2020/2017、ICSI 2016、TAAI 2015、SMCE 2015、ICSI 2015、ICSI 2014、APSCC 2014、TAAI 2014、TAEA 2013和CCDM 2014等国际/国内学术会议的程序委员会委员,是进化计算和群体智能领域权威国际会议IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation(CEC 2014/2016/2019)的Special Session Proposer。获邀在NCE 2019、DEOTA 2018、HCP 2018、IWIOSC 2017、BIC-TA 2016、ECOLE 2015等国内外学术会议和研讨会上作大会报告。

Dr. Zhi-Hui Zhan received the Bachelor’s degree and the Ph. D. degree in Computer Science from Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), Guangzhou, P. R. China in 2007 and in 2013, respectively. He was a Lecture with the School of Information Science and Techonlogy, SYSU, from 2013-2014, was an Associate Professor with the School of Advanced Computing, SYSU, from 2014-2015, and since 2016 is a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT).
    His current research interests include particle swarm optimization, genetic algorithms, ant colony optimization, differential evolution, and other evolutionary computation algorithms and their applications. He has published over 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, including more than 30 IEEE Transactions papers. 1 of them is the Essential Science Indicator (ESI) Hot Paper, and 8 of them is the Essential Science Indicator (ESI) Highly Cited Paper. The “Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO)”, the “Orthogonal Learning Particle Swarm Optimization (OLPSO)”, the “Multiple Populations for Multiple Objectives (MPMO)”, and some others are all listed as the Research Fronts of ESI. His published papers have been cited over 6000 times by the scholars all over the world, according to Google Scholar or Google Scholar (for Chinese).
    Dr. Zhan’s doctoral dissertation was awarded the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Outstanding Ph. D. Dissertation in 2017, the China Computer Federation (CCF) Outstanding Ph. D. Dissertation in 2013, and Guangdong Province Outstanding Dissertation in 2014. He was a recipient of the Outstanding Youth Science Foundation from the National Natural Science Foundations of China (NSFC) in 2018, the Wu Wen Jun Artificial Intelligence Excellent Youth from the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence in 2017, and the Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scientists of Guangdong Province, China in 2014. He is the Changjiang Scholar Young Professor and the Pearl River Scholar Young Professor. Dr. Zhan is listed as one of the Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researchers in Computer Science.
    He serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation (SCI, JCR-Q1, IF=8.508), the Neurocomputing (SCI, JCR-Q1, IF=3.241), and the International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research (ESCI). He is the Lead Guest Editor of "Advances in Nature-inspired Algorithms and Applicatioins" in the International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research. He is the regular reviewer of the journals of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, Information Sciences, Journal of Scheduling, Soft Computing, Natural Computing, Memetic Computing, and many other SCI international journals and Chinese journals. He is the Pragram Chair of The 11th International Conference on Advanced Computational Intelligence (ICACI 2019), the Speical Sessions Chair of The 7th International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST 2017) and the Publicity Chair of the 9th International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing (ICICIP 2018), the program committee (PC) member for GECCO 2020, ANTS 2020, SSCI 2019, SSCI 2017, AAAI 2017, ICSI 2016, TAAI 2015,SMCE 2015, ICSI 2015, BRCIS-CCI'2015, ICSI 2014, APSCC 2014, TAAI 2014, TAEA 2013, and CCML 2015, CCDM 2014/2011, the Special Session Organizer on “Brain Storm Optimization and Its Applications” of the 2014 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI 2014),the Special Session Organizer on “Neural Networks: Model and Application in Real World Problems” and “Interactive Computational Intelligence for Industry 4.0” of WCCI 2016.

 指导学生发表IEEE Transactions论文10余篇。
    教学过程中启发和引导学生将课程知识与学术前沿进行结合,并设置相关小课题吸引学生的兴趣,指导本科生“大学生创新训练计划项目”等近10项。
 指导学生刘晓芳、张梦丹、黎海灏、陈宗淦、张戈弋、石琳、吴丽娇、李悦新等人本科阶段在GECCO、CEC、SSCI等计算智能领域的权威国际会议上发表学术论文10余篇。
 指导本科生黎海灏等人和谢嘉雯等人获得2015年美国大学生数学建模竞赛国际一等奖(Meritorious Winner)2项。
